How can I make a "Staff Online" widget? I have found here some posts about this issue but they are not working but I saw a similar widget in other forumotion forums which working. My forum version is PunBB.

Yes I have asked both forums but they share those codes only for Premium, VIP members etc but they are not sharing with simple members. I posted here if someone else maybe have similar codes for sharing.

I see. From what I saw it looked like it used AJAX, so it loads the data from somewhere. Most likely the user profile.

I have nothing for the moment.

I think the javascript reads the users online list and finding the staff members maybe from a rank characteristic and then displaying the staff member in the widget.

I can make a staff widget for you, but I don't know about having a notification of them online/offline.

I am thinking it must read the data from the forumURL/viewonline page and it must separate the staff members from a heuristic to display them in the widget but I dont know how can I develop this in javascript.

Thank you very much, I found and adapted another code for the staff online widget yesterday night. it looks like this http://prntscr.com/4phdfi . I think it need a fix because it has some load functions and I think its too heavy. Maybe it will need to set correct the browser's local storage settings to bypass the requests limits.
Can we optimize the code?
