    Hello erchima,

    From what I can tell, if you disable the FA toolbar you forfeit the notifications system.

    Toolbar disabled : I received no new notif updates
    Toolbar enabled : I received new updates

    It depends on what you want the notifications for:  pm's, users' wall messages, friend request, new replies, etc.

    I think for new replies it is only possible via FA toolbar.

    but I've seen that notification can be modified own, I've seen on the forum forumotion but I forgot the address of the forum  Crying or Very sad

    Users who give buy credits are allowed to modify the F/M toolbar and make their toolbar on the F/M toolbar. This is probably what you've seen.

    That forum has the toolbar activated. It looks like they hid it with CSS.
