I am having some trouble with a problem of mine and hopefully you can help. First off, I made a rules post in the: Rules section on my Forums. But then I wanted to make it an announcement or sticky. Then I went to edit and pressed: Announcement, but it isn't doing anything. Is there any way to make it an announcement/sticky after officially posting it? If so, thanks

First of all please give a link to your forum.
when posting even if you don't add this as an announcement/sticky the edit button should still work. for me to know more about what is going on i will need a test account pm'ed to me  and the link to your forum.

Do you have it set where announcements and stickies are separated from the other topics?

SLgray, how do I set it? I don't believe I have updated the settings yet. That might be the problem. Also, my Forums is for certain uses only, and so I'd like it to remain private. But I think changing the settings will do the trick

ACP General tab
 Messages and e-mails Configuration 17th down the page look for  Separate announcements and stickies from the messages : set it to With a table SAVE
