    Solved Pinterest Meta Tag

    Where does the Pinterest meta tag go in my forum for verification? Also where is the Head in my Forumotion ?

    I'm new, and in transition from my other website

    What isĀ  * Pinterest : Profile > Scroll down > PinterestĀ  ?Ā 

    Ā In my Pinterest Profile,Ā there is a place for your websiteĀ linkĀ , when the link goes in , a meta tag:Ā 

    <meta name="p:domain_verify" content="2e63c41a554f1c5686f902afeadd0b3dĀ  - And instructions - :

    Add this meta tag to the <head> of your index.html file or equivalent



    Ā is given and a button for verifying website.Ā  It says to put the link in the headĀ / body of your site. When that is done, you click the verify link and a green check appears that its verified.Ā  Ā

    I put the meta tag in Forumotion Ā , and clicked verify Pinterest button Ā - It saidĀ  " Oops trouble verifying your Domain, please try again later."Ā  Is there something done incorrectly ?

    I put tag in the bottom line of the meta tag box and key words in top line of the box, the page said it was successful.

    Administration Panel > General > Forum Promotion > Search Engines
    Scroll down until you see the meta tag section.Ā  Press the create button and enter the information.

    Try this log out of Pinterest and log back in.

    My Pinterest is connected through FaceBook. Do I log out of FB and reconnect ?

    Check to see if your forum's link is not verified.Ā  When I tried it, I also get an error message, but the link was verified.

    I apologize for the late response. I have never disconnected through FB before, Pinterest has just stayed 'logged in' .Ā  How do I do that - log out of FB and log back in ?Ā Ā Ā  Thanks

    Are your two accounts (Facebook and Pinterest) connected?Ā  Since this is not related to Forumotion, you will need to ask for help on Facebook or Pinterest.
