    In progress Blue text

    Post by tomdavid Wed 22 Oct 2014 - 0:06

I notice on a few words in posts on our forum that they are in blue text (originally was black like the rest of the message). If I click on that word that is in blue text, it takes me to another site advertising something.
Has anyone else noticed this and if so, how to stop it?
I had to go into the post and erase that word (in blue text) and type in an alternative word so the blue text would not show.

Is this solved as you have marked it with the solved icon?

I changed the 'Text Ads' to "No."  (Will have to see if that stops the 'blue' text 'ads' from appearing.

The 'Activate Ads'  is also set to "No."

I have the 'Reduce the Number of Ads...' set as "Yes." Should I leave it that way?

It was an actual post by a member of the forum. It was not copied from someplace else.

If you're using Google Chrome, go to Tools (in top right, which is the 3 line icon) -> Extensions.

Scan your device with an anti-virus program.
