    Solved Homepage Won't Show

    I set up a homepage a while ago and set it to homepage, but when I go tot he forum index it won't show.

    I've even inserted a link to forumotion.com like it asks.

    Are you referring to a HTML page or the portal as the homepage?

    How do I create a test account? I don't think I've ever done one before. You could register on my forum, I make you an admin, then delete your account when it's all done?

    Register like a new member and send the log in information to me by pm.

    Edit:  After using the test account, I located the issue.  You did not add the link to the HTML page to the button when you created it.  You only added /.

    I have removed my link and added it again on the header and navigation, like /h1-homepage , and then set the page as the homepage, but now I can't access my forum. I hover over the nav bar link and it says /forum , but when I click on it it is still the homepage.

    I have since unset it as homepage, since I hope to attract more members to the site and if they don't see the forum, they won't be interested.

    Please could someone come and login to my test account (I'll send you details via PM) so I can get this sorted?

    It works for me.  When you are on the homepage are you pressing the home button?

    I have unset the homepage as home for the above reasons, so now when I click on the homepage it is the homepage, but I wish to have it so when someone comes on the site they see the homepage first, but this doesn't work when it's set as homepage. The forum disappears so clicking home and homepage both result in the same.

    Sorry to doublke post, but I have added a portal to my site then reactivated my homepage, and that seems to have SOLVED the problem.
