Solved Many pages, of one Thread, have immediately vanished, after posting a new comment

Post by Richardr November 30th 2014, 1:31 am

Today we posted into a long thread consisting of 93 pages.  Immediately after posting, the first 83 pages disappeared, leaving only 10. Yet if we open an old URL in any one of those 83 missing pages, the full thread reappears (or rather the first 83 pages), with the last 10 pages missing.

It is as if the initial thread has split into two separate threads. This problem has never occurred before. How can we retrieve the whole 93 pages? Do we:

    1. Reset forum to nearest prior date (yesterday?)

    2. Is there a solution via admin panel?

3  Do moderators have ability to restore the full thread?

    Thanks.

Why can't we find the other piece that is missing. How are we to find it?

Do threads have a maximum post number limit?

You should have two topics with the same title.
