    In progress Mass Newsletter problem

Post by Mizteeque December 1st 2014, 1:56 pm

    HI there,

I have read through just about every previous topic I could find on newsletter problems but none of them appear to address my issue.

I have tried several times to send out a newsletter for my forum, however I have only been successful once.
This is not a delay problem, the first time I tried was back in October 2014 and have tried again today.
I sent 3 test newsletters in October and they have never arrived, sent another 2 today and 1 arrived.

I goto AP - General - newsletter - write and send
rich text with html (although no html is used in the body of the newsletter at all)
Sender of the email : noreply@forumotion.com
recipients: admin (only sent to admin so far to test)

Hit send newsletter, confirm, and after a few minutes it appears in tracking and archives as sent
but never arrives at any of the admins email addresses

The only time I have been successful was when I changed the sender of email  to my own personal email address instead of noreply@forumotion.com

I do not want to use my personal email to send out mass newsletter, but it doesn't seem to work otherwise.

Please can someone tell me what im doing wrong??

    Hi

I made some test. Could you please send various NL (html, non html, with noreply, witout noreply) to "admin group"? Like that I'll be able to see the differences with my tests Wink

    Hello

It is because we made too many tests. There is a limit of sending per day Smile

You can retest it today normally Smile

Thank you, I already tried again today and got the same response, however when I went into my hotmail inbox one of yesterdays tests that said it hadn't sent, actually had but again it was from my personal email and it is not showing in the tracking and archives!!
    Very odd!!
