SO I followed this tutorial to install this chatbox in my html page

And for some reason, the chat works but doesn't show...
I can type messages and hit enter and they get sent, but they don't appear in this chatbox, they do appear on the original chatbox as normal messages tho..

Here's a screenshot.. any help from you guys?

I have lots of other things on my homepage, and hence I and most of my members prefer the chat box on a separate page.
My navbar has included a button for chat.
