hello, I am the founder of a forum called Broadcasting Duo hosted by forumotion. This morning I woke up and logged into my admin panel to find that over like 20 people had accounts deleted. I did not delete these accounts. I wanted to know if there is a known bug/glitch that has caused this issue. Or maybe there have been other reports?

Have you enabled the option for members to be able to unsubscribe to your forum? If so, they may have done that.

No they did not unsubscribe... I know a few that were deleted personally. They were deleted from the admin panel/server.

Have you programmed anything in the Administration Panel => Users & Groups => Users => Handle users?

No.. Sir I do not. I do another admin but the ACP says I was the last one logged in to acp.

If it helps anything I could take snapshot of all the administration actions?

Hi take a look at your ACP >> General >>   Forum >> Security >> go to the bottom of your page and look in the staff log's there it should tell you there if the accounts was deleted by a staff member.

as you will see in my screen shot it tells you who did the delete


If there is not a log on there then the member has removed them self  but there is a chance you can get them back by forum of a forum back up.

Go to  Forums utilities when logged in click on the following items on the screen shot

this should give you back your members and there posts

Note : to do the backup do a date later then yesterdays say like 3 or 4 days at first as your need to do 2 backup's Then do the same again but do yesterdays date as the 2nd one this will bring back any members that are missing in the last 24hrs

Ok... restoring it... and yet there a staff's name: mine! I did not remove these acoounts... here is the screen shot any way

ok change your password on your Admin account on your forum and on your #Forums utilities
Once you have done your backup it looks as if your account was hacked or used by a member of your staff.

Iing  household computer...maybe I forgot to log out . OPPs anyway looks as if the backup is going to work!
