Uploading pics with linux ubuntu

Hi.  One of our members has reported that he can't upload images using Linux Ubuntu - has anyone else experienced this or is it a problem with his system?

He uses Firefox btw.

Is your member getting a link to the image or trying to add the image directly from his device? In order for images to appear on the forum, it has to be in a link format. It cannot be directly uploaded from the desktop or mobile device as far as I know of. Ask them if they are trying to directly upload it or if they are using the [img][/img] tags and providing a link to the image with those tags or not. If they aren't then it might not work at all. Forumotion comes with a built in image uploader known as "Servimg". Try using their service, it is free and it works with Forumotion confirmed.

Hi James. Thanks for your suggestion. We have always encouraged our members to use servimg and the genteman in question is doing so.  He cannot see the Host it button on the pane. Another member who used to use Linux has said that it might be to do with that system resizing fonts. 

It seems to be a linux issue.

Glad to hear that things are getting better. If they cannot see the button, you can also direct them to the Servimg website to host images and get the DIRECT link for images to work properly on your Forumotion forum. But it does seem to possibly be a Linux issue which is better then being a Forumotion issue.
