Hi a forum I go on has been locked so no one can start new topics etc. how can we unlock it?

Go to Admin Control Panel ---> General Tab --> Categories and Forums --> press the button next to the forum that's locked then go down to where it says 'Forum Status' and select from the drop down menu the unlocked status.

Thanks for the reply. It does say unlocked but on the main page of te forum there is a symbol with a padlock saying forum locked. No one can start new topics or reply to messages

I joined your forum and I can't even see where you can click to create a new topic but it does say I can create a topic.

Can you screenshot the forum in question so I can see what you're seeing?
