Signature options changed?

On my forum, I have it set to where members can use images and such in their signatures. I have been posting some messages just fine, and they would show up automatically. All of a sudden, I have to check a box to make sure that it shows up in my post. I'm not sure if this is something new, or if I accidentally changed something without knowing it in the admin panel? I would prefer for it to show up automatically without having to check the box.

Have you enabled "Attach my signature automatically" in the profile ?
Profile > Preferences

I did notice that and changed it, however I did not have to do that previously. It changed all on its own somehow. The only options I changed from my profile were my profile avatar before this happened, and it occurred a while after that.
