User Name Taken

Good Evening, I just set up my message board and when a friend went to register it said the user name is already taken, there are no other users yet, how is this possible?  i've tried searching this topic to no avail. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

can you provide the forum url, name you was trying to use and the end of the email you was using ..@yahoo,@hotmail

Yes i can help you with this,
This is to do with our spam username system  it will take all the most names used to make a spam account on a site and block them.

To fix this please follow this easy step

ACP >> General Tab >>
  Forum >> Security >> "Unauthorize subscriptions made with the most commonly used spam usernames" pick NO then save
