In progress Visitor Messages with PM's disabled?

    Hi,

Is it possible for members to leave Visitor Messages while the PM"s are disabled - or to disable PM's somehow without disabling the visitor messages.  Possibly 'hide' the ability to send PM's without disabling them?

    Thank you for your time.

    Best,
    Felicity

Visitor messages and private messages are not the same thing.  You should be able to deactivate pm's from groups.  Created a group for all members and deactivate the private messages from that group.

This is not working for me.

First, if I disable the pm's, it also disables the ability to write Visitor Messages.

Second, if I click only administrators group can pm without disabling the pm's, everyone can still pm.

The only thing that seems to make some sense, is that those who I click 'can' pm, can actually email, but still not pm - when the pm's are disabled.

I will be try to be clearer if I need to get help here.  Thanks.  Felicity
