Post count

I'm pretty sure this was discussed a while back but I can't find the thread. I know another user suggested it. 

Is there a way to edit the post count? I know it can't actually be done but maybe the post count display? For example I have 150 real posts. But I want my posts to say 500, even though I really just have 150. In IPB this is easy to do, I can have 10 posts and I could just make it display 5,000 post count. But in Forumotion is it possible to do this? I'd really like to find out.

You can spoof the count via javascript. If you'd like to do it, could you provide the version of the forum you're using ?

Ok it works. I used an alternate account of one of my Head admins. I gave her 250 posts when she really only has 3. http://prntscr.com/5w4fm2

But I have 2 questions.

1: If the user makes a post it still stays at 250 it doesn't become 251, it stays in 250.  Can it change along with the added spoof value? 

2: Can the post count be displayed in other areas? Her real post count still appears in other areas: http://prntscr.com/5w4hg9

You'll have to write spoofN for this, since we're only going to be adding existing values together. (numbers)

2. That's definitely a bit more complicated. We'll have to make a change in the toolbar, profile, memberlist, usergroups, widgets, polls.. does it display anywhere else ?

Thanks for the new code it worked perfectly now she has 253 total posts. Thank you. Also do I have to make a new JS for every user or just use the same one? Since only a few people will be spoofed which are Admin alternate accounts I allow them to have. 


2: Basically my main interest would be that it displays in Profile, Usergroupsm Member list and top posters which is a widget.

You can place as many as you want within the current code. Where you see :

Ok, So I now have 2 Admins spoofed but when I check their posts only 1 has it spoofed the other one still has their real count. It's only doing it for one user.

Yes. It is. It was not working yesterday, but now both Admins have their posts spoofed.

It may be down to a mistake I made. Try replacing var html; with var html='';

Yes I changed that and now have 4 spoofed members, and it's working. Thanks for that fix ^^

Is there a way to make the posts Visible in the Widgets and Profiles also?

Modify it? Well, I did replace the username, field, and value, if that's what you mean.

Nevermind, I got it to work. I forgot to publish the template, and Javascript wasn't enabled. I've manipulated my post count to become 792100000+ now. And I've also modified my points and reputation. 

Eugeo Ayano the issue was the placement of the script it had to be set to in all pages
