    Description of problem

    I'd like to know how you can set permissions/restrictions for various ranks. I've set up a 'probationary member' rank, and I'd like to be able to limit what a probationary member can DO on the forum - then set the 'new member' permissions a bit higher, then no restrictions for full members and above.

    Is that possible?

    Hello @LadyFaire,

    To prevent members with a special rank from viewing a forum, you'll also need to create a group to go with it.
