It's been a while since I've been here. I apologize if this kind of question has been asked before and or recently.
Anyway on my forum, there is the 'Who is Online' link at the very bottom. It used to be that if you clicked on it, that it would take you to a full Google map, and position it over a loose estimate where you're located in the world map. (The blue/green marker icons)
Lately if I click on it from either my PC or laptop, its positioned roughly in the middle of the world map. Or its positioned closer to France. On occasion a green marker icon appears on the Paris marker on the map, which I'm assuming is a bot of some form. And if I use the zoom in feature, I zoom in on the green bot marker rather then that of my own marker.
I just find it odd that the Google map positions itself over the Paris/bot section rather than where I'm currently located within the map. I just wanted to know if that's something that I should be worried about, like a malicious bot/software, or just something that shouldn't concern me.
