Hello,
If you would like to stop people from posting on your forum, simply modify the permissions at:
1. Administration Panel (advanced mode)
2. General Tab
3. Categories and forums (on the left, under Forum)
4. Click on the permissions sign (
) on a forum
5. Uncheck 'Reply to a message' and 'Open a topic' for Members
Repeat for all forums as necessary.
