How do I embed a quiz game on my forum?..

Description of problem

....a quiz game into my forum?..I  have the code but don't know which part of the forum to paste the code into..I'm not PC savvy so would be helpful if someone can be thorough and clear for me!

This can go in multiple places, if you want it to be in a separate page on your forum, then go to Admin Control Panel -> Modules -> HTML Pages Management -> Click either one of the buttons at the bottom of the page

Title * : (Optional)
Do you wish to use your forum header and footer ? : Yes (Again, this is optional, but I recommend using the forum's header and footer)
Use this page as homepage ? : No
Then in the place where it says "Page body *", place the code you just provided.

Press submit, and then you should be done, it will then create another page on your forum (www.yourforumlink.forumotion.com/h1-) where you can view it.

Hi FS..thank you ..but  while your instruction were very clear , it doesn't seem to have worked!

When I'm on the HTML page management , the quiz look to be embedded , saying frame, source http quizf actor etc..

But when I go onto my homepage it still just comes up as just the whole code on my post!..
Have I done something wrong then?... Or missed something out ? I followed everything you said.

Hello!

The code you've got can go into a post / topic anywhere you want, for instance in a separate game section on your website. Just paste it into a topic, maybe have the topic locked after that (up to you), but make sure you've switched on HTML usage on your website (ACP >> General >> Messages & E-mails >> Configuration. Then on the right side make sure this is on: http://prntscr.com/623y38 and hit save at the bottom of that page http://prntscr.com/623yag .

If you want to change the size of your game being displayed I'd advise you to change these http://prntscr.com/623yur numbers into something else, like 600 and 800 for instance.

Hi Samantha and thanks..all settings like HTML an BBcode are on..I did manage to upload it but not by way of pasting code into post, that's not working...

But when it uploaded it had appeared twice on the main index many..I think it now more a Category/forum issue,,

Tried to delete on of the forums and tinker about with it , but I either have the forum itself without the quiz as its not working by simply lasting code into a post...or it works but I have 2 of the same quiz featuring on index page...

Tried copying forum permissions etc..but I can't quite get it right!..but thanks I'll persevere!

I did paste code into HTML btw but either doesn't show or shows two forums with the same thing ..one of them a bit out of line and rather large even though I channged the size.

I don't see them at all on your forum given the link you provided in your profile on here. Could you pass me the links to them, please? When I paste the code into a new topic on my website, it works perfectly well. It shows a 10-question quiz.

The Quiz section im trying to create is hidden just now till I creat it Samantha..

I can just C&P the code link into a post Samantha , but it's only clickable and takes you to a separate website to the quiz itself..I would rather have it embed..

I did manage this earlier but two  sections were coming up amd it looked untidy with one of them quite big and out of line..
Do I need that section unlocked for YOU to see it?..amd what should I send to you?

Well, since the section is hidden, I won't be able to help. It's up to you where you want to go from here. You could PM me with a temp. account that has the proper rights, but if you don't mind, I'd rather leave that up to FM staff.

I've a couple of things to do the now Samantha, but I'm near getting it..if it's ok with you I will get back to you or someone else in a wee while
