My moderators can see when members, including me are on invisible even though I have this option disabled, can anyone let me know how this is happening?

You have made sure the option Allow moderators to see the hidden users is set to no ?

If so, could you provide the URL of your forum ?

Yeah thats the real board. I'm logged in now, alot of my members registered and never returned. I've not touched any of the templates.

Is that member in the Administration group by any chance ?

No I'm not but when I have the option for mods not to be able to see hidden users they still can.

If you are friends with invisible members, you will see them.

I dont want anyone seeing hidden members I only want this for admins and I have it disabled but mods can still see hidden users!

Are the moderators friends with the hidden members?  If the hidden members are on the moderators' friend lists, they will see the hidden members.   This also goes for normal members and hidden members.

For hidden online status: Profile > Preferences > Hide my online Status > Save

Recent topics is a widget to activate it go to:
ACP > Modules > Widgets > Forum Widgets Management > Drag Recent Topics to your active widgets > Save 

I also recommend, if you have any questions, open up your own topic and post any questions you have ^^

CM all Friends of yours can still see the hid  admins and mods all the time the members are on the Friends list there see the Hid members. To do this you need to remove them from your friends list or you can do as i have done and Hide the Hid members settings at the bottom of your forum but the problem with this is your friends will still see the online icon in your forum when they read your posts.

if you would like the code to Remove the hidden members at the bottom then here it is

ACP >> Modules Tab >>   HTML & JAVASCRIPT >> Javascript codes management

make a new javascript >

SETTINGS:
Title * : Remove Hidden text
Placement : In the home page ONLY
