What do you look for in a holiday?...

Apart from some of the obvious booze & beaches?!...

I like taking trips and doing the real fun stuff like go karting and visiting markets amd also trying different restaraunts...stuff like that.

I'm not one for alcohol , I much prefer to see places and also like boat trips and cram in as much fun for the kids as we can!

Let me tell you folks , should you ever go to Lanzarote( one of our favourite destinations) then you be mad to miss the go karting there!!!


Don't visit the one near Arriceffe as they tend to be too strict ...our friends had gone to that one and their wee lad was out of the Karts for crashing by mistake!!

He only bumped int the stacks of safety tyres around the circuit which are there exactly for that purpose!!..good grief.


Go to the one in San Bartolome !! It's fantastic and there are 3 or 4 different choice of power go karts , and around 12 karts can go on ar once!..

Very good prices too AND they pick you up and drop you off for free almost anywhere on the island!!

I think its gone up slightly in price ..at around €12 for 8 minutes for the most powerful go karts they have...320cc!

That might sound expensive to some for 8 minutes, but it's way cheaper than karting in the UK...and a far better track which is all outdoors!

Of course they have a bar and sell pizza etc.

I like visiting historic sites, museums, and zoos.

doing tourism in my own country with my family and going to eat in other places and try other foods.

Visiting places at sea... Climbing... Visiting historic places and buildings...And in Croatia we have a lot of them

Nice one folks, good to see others like me prefer to spend time not sitting on the beach drinking all day

...each to their own anyway I guess and if it weren't so boring for the kids I would also like to visit historical sites too.

I like to spend time with families, drink, hang with friends and eat a good meal on the holidays

In my holidays I just mostly sleep.
And of course im going to the beach with my surfboard, if the water arent too cold and there are some good waves.

I like a bit of everything if I'm being honest. Somewhere hot, historic, sporting. Has a lot of activities and generally a good atmosphere is great. I honestly like places that are 'out of the way' but are easily accessible to main towns or cities.
