Weird signature showing on all posts

Have a forum thanks to the great people at formation...anyways whenever somebody posts something, some retarded

(") (") shows up on everyones signatures and I cannot find where to disable/remove/DELETE this crap from the signatures without disabling the signature function for all forum members.

What exactly is appearing/happening? Are your members trying to include codes in their signature or use bbcode? May you include a screenshot and your forum link?

The only post with it was that of an Admin. Were you trying to post a link or something? It looks to me like something was not done right or there was some kind of error with something. That is commonly associated with some kind of code or bbcode that was not done correctly.

it seems that you have installed on your forumotion forum, a script with an API called viglink and I really think that this problem can be caused by this script

In fact, you can see that in this post there's a link that says "Link added by VigLink"

Remove that javascript code (It could be in the templates) and all will be solved

Thanks for your input. No viglink here...must be on your computer, not mine. I will make it known that when somebody was an admin (for a little while he was) they made this signature. I just need to know WHERE to locate the settings that make a signature for every post. Thanks!

I have checked and it could have been the forumotion text-ads option

anyway, that is the signature of the member, that you can edit going to his/her profile from the ACP.. if the profile is yours, you can edit it by going to Profile > Signature

See, that's whats weird. It's not showing up on my signature NOR the other users signature...let me go confirm this though.

For what I see, and from the source code of the page, the signature of the user admin has this content:

So, just remove the content of the signature or edit it

Well it's not in the signature content, but then again who needs a sig anyways. I'll just live without mine until I decide to locate the offending crap. Thanks buddy!

Yeah, I disabled the sig on my admin panel.  No sig for me...Thanks for the help!
