Question about content allowed on a forum

I'm the founder of a roleplay forum which is still in construction. During the last part of the creation proccess for the forum, I read over the red box with the forumotion rules and saw where it said sexual themes/ponrography are not permitted on a forum. Since this will be a roleplay forum, would that also be refferring to sexual scenes that might be in a romantic roleplay? Or just images, videos, and other visual content.

I believe if refers to images and videos and stuff. I think you should be fine, just be cautious and closely monitor when discussing those type of thing. 1 minor step to far has the potential to wreck all. But if you avoid images and stuff like that you should be fine.

Forums that does welcome or promote warez, piracy, hacking, cracking, spamming, attacks against networks or servers, pornography, racial hatred, crimes against humanity, inappropriate activities on the servers, or any other actions which violate any applicable laws, aren't allowed. Any forum which contains texts, links, pictures, animations, videos or any other content recognized as Illegal will be deleted without notice or warning. forumotion.com reserves the right to delete any accounts or forums considered not conform to the rules quoted here or specified in forumotion.com or in the international website rules according to the international internet law. Any Illegal content or act and will be reported to the concerned services and prosecuted.

I do believe that all sexual themes, regardless of images or text, could be considered illicit content and is not permitted. I also run a role-play forum and I just imply that something happened and gloss around it, rather than allowing anyone to include the actual sexual scene.

Anything related to sex and/or nudity should not be on your forum.

Yes this is right there should NOT be any text that has to do with sex talk on your forum as the forum can be read by google and other bots and under age members or young persons could be reading your forum.

The rules are set out by law that you have to follow or your forum will be deleted without warning. Sad

we understand you want to use the forum as a RP forum and we do ask all Admin's / Founders to keep to them rules set out by the team.

You can still use the forum as a RP forum just keep the text clean and UN-suggestive.

Well if sexual contentment is not allowed, then why are so many boards that still has it?
I have been on number of danish board where people have done a tone of sexual role plays, and they just made system where you make a topic if it has sexual or any violent in it so the younger members know that awaits if the deiced to read the topic.

Them boards are then breaking the TOS and will be found out and there forum will be warned and or removed / Banned. if there not hosted by us then there is nothing that can be done from us but our rules do state no sex or porn to be placed on our boards at any time.
