    In progress E-mail from GoDaddy

Post by paor March 27th 2015, 8:09 pm

My forum have custom domain name which expired for 130 days.

Just received an email message from GoDaddy (image at the bottom).
I have not any godaddy account and never undertook any action on FM related domains.

Should I ignore this message or...?

    Tnx

    Hi,

This email is fake (phishing scam), it's designed to steal username and password of domain owner.
Since you registered your domain through Forumotion, you don't need to worry.
Forumotion buys domain names on GoDaddy and is using your details you typed when you ordered domain and that's why you got this.
Just ignore and delete this email.

One way to determine if the email is fake is going to the official GoDaddy site and use their contact system.  They would like to know that someone is sending emails with their name.

    Hello

This message is normal. We changed our DNS few days ago. But don't worry you can delete this message, there is nothing you've to do Wink

    Thanks  :rose:
