Solved Editing problem

Post by bigmoe March 28th 2015, 1:02 pm

Technical Details

Forum version : phpBB2
Position : Founder
Concerned browser(s) : Google Chrome
Screenshot of problem : http://bigmoesports.forumotion.com/t299-college-hoops-3-27-sweet-16-and-also-rans
Who the problem concerns : Yourself

Description of problem

I do not want the post to show that I have edited it. How do I change the setting so my posts do not show I have had to edit them? At the bottom of my post it shows "edited x number of times". I do not want that to be displayed. Thank you.

Hi @bigmoe,

This can be removed by a modification to the templates. Go to Administration Panel > Display > Tmeplates > General > Open the template viewtopic_body Edit

Find and remove :
Code:
{postrow.displayed.EDITED_MESSAGE}

Save and publish. Add

Thanks, Ange. But when I go into the DISPLAY in the Admin Panel, I do not see any "TEMPLATE" to click. Am I missing something? Could my Admin Panel be different from yours?

Hello,
Every Founder and only the Founder has access to the templates of their forum. There should be an entire section dedicated only to templates. May you provide a screen shot of what you see in the 'display' section?
