How can members contact me via Private Message?

Likewise, I would like them to be able to contact each other directly. I don't currently see an option in my layout / perhaps something needs to be added?

All they need to do is hit the little 'pm' button on each post. They can also write a new pm by hitting the 'no new messages' or 'no new messages' or something along those lines button in the navbar and hitting new pm or new topic where it directs them.

Additionally, how do I get the Memberlist to appear as a tab in my navigation? Although I see Memberlist in the list at Display > Homepage > Header & Navigation, I do not see an option to add this to the nav.

You simply need to add a navigation button. This can be done through acp-->Display-->Navigaton.

Oh, I'm sure it is indeed quite simply once I see it!  As I said above, " I do not see an option to add this to the nav."  Exactly how can I do this on the page referenced?

Hi @GregoryBaskin,

I see your forum is using images as navigation. For those nav items to display you'll need to add in image for it under pics management.
Administration Panel > Display > Pics management > Advanced > General / Explore

Scroll down and you'll soon see your navigation images + blanc nav items which are yet to have an image. You should be able to upload and save a new image for them here.

Additionally you can show both text and images in the navigation.
Display > Headers and Navigation > Display only images in the navbar : NO


If you and your members are unable to send PMs, make sure that it is enabled here :
General > Private Messages > Private Messaging : ENABLED
