Solved Subject line when sending mail

Post by LilaP April 13th 2015, 2:02 pm

when I send out a newsletter to the group I always put...hi ladies in the subject line. it won't send cause its telling me the subject is too short. is there a way to fix it so you don't have to put in 10 words to send a newsletter? tyvm

    Hello,

Do you have a title restriction (like a minimum about of letters in a topic title that is required to send) on your forum? If so, try lowering or removing this, maybe this will allow you to send the newsletter with less letters.

This can be found in ACP-->General--> Messages and e-mails-->Configuration... look for 'topic length'.

Ok.. try adding a series periods after the hello EXAMPLE: 'Hello.........' this can help fool the system and let the message go through, as it counts a period as a character
