Hi guys,

I'm looking for some code that would create a popup window or alert message (not on toolbar) for certain groups when someone creates a new thread in one particular forum. I just realized Ange Tuteur made a tutorial on Real time alert system. Something like that could work very well and I really like it, but it is not quite exactly what I need. If each member of the group is watching a certain forum, they will get a notification in the toolbar.  Also if they allow pop-ups, there should be pop-ups for the notifications.

Thank you SL Gray for your message. I realized we can do that. However, something I want is very specific that it has to be a popup that separates itself from tool bar. It could be an pop up like when we get a new private message. This is because there are so many threads being created per day so those important threads are missed out.
