Okay, so I made a forum, then an hour later I made an account- I tried signing in through the admin page so that my new account could become admin, but the forum does not let me link the accounts. On the forum, I'm the "admin" but I want to change it so it is my account coming on without loosing admin privileges. I'm sorry if I'm wasting your time, but this is bothering me somewhat.

Re: "Linking" Accounts
You can not link accounts.
Do you want to change the username of the founder account?

Re: "Linking" Accounts
Oh- so the "Admin" can't be hooked up with any accounts, so I just have 2 separate profiles?(one is Admin and the other is this account?)

Re: "Linking" Accounts
Correct. Accounts on forums hosted by Forumotion can not be linked together.
What do you mean by this account?
Are you referring to an account that can log into any forum hosted by Forumotion? If yes, this is not possible. You will have to register on each forum.

Re: "Linking" Accounts
What exactly is the problem? Is there a reason why you do not want to use the founder account?

Re: "Linking" Accounts
I'm going to try to word this as best as I can:
Well the problem was that I thought I could connect my own forum admin account to 109190xmas. I guess I was just really confused about this "forum thing" at first (I'm new, so I'm not going to understand everything on my first day.)
I understand now, and I should probably keep my founder account.

Re: "Linking" Accounts
It is important because only the founder account can see everything in the administration panel.

Re: "Linking" Accounts
You can change the username of the Founder acoount to '109190xmas' though. You can do this in acp (admin panel)-->Users and groups-->Find users-->Click your 'Admin' account, in the username field, just change it to whatever you want and hit save.
I don't think many people keep the default username of admin for their Founder account. It can get annoying
Hope this helps,
-Brandon
