Description of problem

Hello,

I am very sorry to be writing this. I went through the credit system and bought the domain, however during the processing stage(which it is still in now, because of the weekend) My friend bought for me my domain at GoDaddy. So I set up the CNAME record and updated my forums address in the general settings=>forum address.

Will have doing it this way mess anything up?

Can we cancel the domain purchase and refund the credits so I can still use them here at ForuMotion?

How long does a CNAME record edited, take to propagate?

Anything I need to do or change for this whole process to be easier?

I'm so terribly sorry for all these questions. I really like ForuMotion so far and want to stay with you guys, my friend bought the domain out for me because he said if my community ever got larger with time I would need a self hosting option at some point. Either way, I'm glad to be with you guys right now!

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry for the late answer.
1- You bought a domain name via Forumotion ( this domain name: entertainmentcosmos.com) = I've checked and the purchase is still in progress but it will be done today
2- You have an other domain name (out of Forumotion) and you would like to use it as a Cname on your forum
3- You want to remove the domain name purchase on Forumotion?

Hello Buttercup! That is all vorrect! The domain that was bought for me outside of forumotion is the exact same as I had originally bought from forumotion. 

So please cancel the forumotion ordering of the domain.

Can those credits be added back to my account so I can still use them here?
