    We have a few issues on our forum (phpBB2).

    1. The portal scrolling module has frozen.
    2. Out post editors do not display smileys or icon buttons, and we can't switch to WYSIWYG.
    3. In the admin panel, we can't remove the "Never provide your password to anyone," section.

    Thanks.

    It's been a week and we still have this problem. I PMed SLGray our forum link. The problems come and go: no editor buttons and can't change it to WYSIWYG; no smileys; scroll is static; can't remove a notification box in the admin panel

    @Richardr
    Hello!
    Your description of the problem probably is related to errors in JavaScript / jQuery code.

    But for us to prove it is necessary that you inform us the address of your forum!

    It would help all of us if you post your forum's link.

    Posting link just brings in a flood of trolls, with which we then have to deal for days on end and which is why we prefer to send it via PMs.

    Thanks for your understanding.

    You could put the link in hide tags (
    Code:
    [hide][/hide]
    ) which would hide it from anyone who doesn't reply to the topic. Would reduce the risk of trolls to almost nothing and then you can edit it afterward.

    Just wanted to make that suggestion, hope it can help at all,

    -Brandon

    @Richardr

    The only problem that I have identified was this:
    Problems with editor and scroll Bv49pZd

    But the file notutf8-en.js is the Forumotion!

    We will check in more detail what might be happening ok?

    Hi @Richardr,

    If you refuse to provide the staff with your forum URL then there is nothing more we can do to help you. We cannot resolve most problems without experiencing them firsthand. If you're fearful of posting your forum link public then make use of the hide tags as this will only make it visible to staff and people who've replied to your topic. Refusing to do so, only extends the time for you to receive a solution.

    Since you've not provided your forum URL, I am only going to go on mere assumptions. Firstly, disable JavaScript codes management to see if that's where the problem originates from. Administration Panel > Modules > JavaScript codes management

    Tick "no" and save. Then proceed to your forum to see if your editor is functioning once more. If it is, then it's simply a process of elimination on your part to identify the script that's causing the problem by disabling each one until you've found the cause.
