In progress Multi quote and Emoticons

Post by Prof Pat Pending July 12th 2015, 12:25 pm

    Hi

My forum is runiing phpBB3 http://freeman-cruisers.forumotion.co.uk/

I've noticed that if you use the multi quote funtion and comment between the two quotes using an emoticon the usernames from the quotes are removed.

Is anyone else seeing this, or is it something I have done

    Thanks

    Pat

To add a bit more to this, if you don't add the emoticon between the quotes, but go back and edit it in, the usernames are still removed, but a preview seems to sort it out and it shows correctly when sent.

EDIT- A preview sorts it out on an original post too. A bit disconcerting if you don't know its going to do it though Smile

Yes, but the usernames vanish when you add the emoticon....before you send

I'd not noticed it before, but I'm now seeing it on various browsers in windows and IOS.
They do reappear when the post goes up, so not the end of the world

Do you mean in the editor before you send it?
