Can someone tell if they are having the same problem as I ? My forum keeps going down for short periods and this has been going on for quite some time now, at first I thought is was just a glitch but not for so long. Below is a partial report of up time and down time and as you can see there is enough in a short period.



My forum is phpbb2 and www.ourbulgariaforum.com

Yea was happening beforehand to a friend of mine

As you may know we have had some down time and a part of that was down to servers but all should be back to how it should be now. we are going to have some more down time on the 27th as our datacentre is going to do some work so we will have a number of problems on that date. after that we should be back upto speed again.

So apart from what is to come on the 27th... from what you say ape does that include issues as recent as this one yesterday.

(www.ourbulgariaforum.com) is UP again at 07/22/2015 09:36:48PM, after 1m of downtime.

Could just be the server getting a ton of requests and therefore reacting slowly to it. Its 1 minute, not much cause for concern. Fib, have you gotten reports from any other users on your site to confirm the issue, or is it confirmed only for you?

I get reports from other users and I always get reports from Pingdom when my forum is down.

When you say down times, what exactly do you mean?  Do you mean your forum does not load?

what i am saying is there has been a number of problems that our team have been fixing and some of the servers was down or just not working right.  The datacenter is getting some work done on it and we have no power over that work.

We hope that once that is done your forum should be back to how it should be.

If you mean down time as in your forum is not getting a lot of hits then that is not down to use that would be down to who ever looks at your forum.

In answer to both questions No what I'm saying is the forum is not contactable although its only mins which is very frustrating if someone is writting a post and the forum disappears when they hit the sent button.

What do you mean by 'disappears'? A site can not just simply 'disappear' off the web, even if there was a server issue, it would likely load an error message. May you provide us a screenshot of the issue?

Hi Brandon what I mean is in the example above is that it times out ? and then if a member was about to post its then lost ? and they have to start again. Hope that make it a little clearer?

The above screenshot is a chart of the times it goes out. If possible I wouls like to ask for a screenshot of what appears in your browser when the site 'disappears'.

Also get input from your members.  Create a topic that allows them to report if it is happening to them and when it happens.

Yes there was a little down time today it was down to the datercenter problems
