    This guy says he can't log in with his current password. I have suggested he get a new log in but he says it still doesn't work. Suggested new account, apparently he can't create a new one as the email address  is in use.

    Can't register a new password because it says his email is already taken.

    As the admin, what can I do to help  him? It's been so long since I've needed to get someone logged into a forum.

    His username is tedloveslisa  and my forum url is http://frasierforums.4umotion.com/

    Try this:  Go in the administration panel and change the password.  Then give the new password to the member to try.

    Why cant you give him a new email address and username? It possible.

    Changing the password for an account in the administration panel should not ask for email and username.

    No, but if the user in question requests these to be changed as well, it is possie to be done in the admin panel.

    have you tryed to change the members Password in the ACP and then log in to the account your self ?

    If no give that a try before passing the Password to the member
