In progress Apple Mac Login Problems

    Post by GBDawg1 15/8/2015, 15:14

A couple of my site members are having problems accessing my site. It may just be a coincidence, but this seems to have happened ever since I installed spot.im (a kind of chatbox) on the site.

What they are saying is they can't access the site at all and it was described to me as being like a "non-interactive photo" of the site. This only appears to be hapopening on Apple Macs and not on pcs.

Does anyone have a solution to this please? Site address is www.theeafl.com

    Many thanks.

    Hi @GBDawg1,

If you suspect it's something you installed recently that is causing the problem, I'd recommend disabling it for the moment to see if the problem persists. If it does, then it's something else, otherwise you know the cause is the plugin you disabled.

I was rather hoping that there might be some other solution because it was an ordeal to get the function installed.
Thanks for your help. Will want to try some other things first and uninstall the function as a last resort.

It depends where you have this thing installed. Could you enlighten me on where you installed this feature ? ( e.g. JS codes management, widget, templates... )

So it's under the templates ?

If that's the case, go to Display > Templates > General

At the top you'll see "Template options", under there will be an option title "Force the default templates," tick "yes" for this and click save. It'll disable the template changes until you decide to go back to your custom template. ( it's the same steps, but you click "no" )
