    Solved Adding fields to the registration process.

    Can I add fields to the registration process - say I want a new user to submit their name as well as a username?

    Yes it is possible, all you would have to do is go to: ACP (Admin Panel)-->Users & Groups-->Profiles--> Go to contact fields, at this point, you either hit modify on a current filled and where it says 'Nessecarily filled?' tick yes and save, or create a new field and do such. This will make that field madatory to fill out.
