the members can not login with new registration

Description of problem

When any new member create id with any name
he can not login with new registration becucse when he try to login he receive this message:

You have specified an incorrect or inactive username, or an invalid password

AP > General > Forum > Security
Unauthorize subscriptions made with the most commonly used spam usernames:  No

Make sure the accounts are activated. May you tell us what you have set in ACP (Admin panel)-->users & groups--> user options--> 'New accounts activation' ?


May you also check if the users appear in ACP-->Users & groups-->Inactive users-->New users ?

I do that i changed it from yes to no

yes the users appear in ACP-->Users & groups-->Inactive users-->New users

So an administrator has to activate the accounts?

Then you just simply have to activate their accounts and they will be able to login with them ane use them .

i changed now this option from admin to user

I believe this is probably due to Forumotion's new anti spam feature, if your forum is inactive, you will be unable to change it from 'admin' activation and you will have to manually activate all new accounts until your forum is active. Sorry .

yes this is down to our new spam tool it will make all admins ok your new accounts until you have got more members and your site gets removed from the system.

the more members you get will turn this system off sooner.

there is no way to turn this spam filter off other then the way i have just said,
