so i ask some person to register an account to my forum but they cant log in because they need to verify their accounts via e-mail which i am very aware that i activate that setting but apparently they havent receive any verification e-mail for like 3-4hrs im not really sure how long so i disabled it right now so they can register but i really want that particular setting to be turned on is there a way of speeding it up? oh they did check in spam but still nothing..

Re: verification email problem
Its very likely that either the email got lost or the email provider thought FM was spam and automatically prevented it from reaching its destination.
Normally verification emails arrive instantly or within 10 minutes which is about the norm for most sites.
However like all sites its possible your verification email cannot arrive.

Re: verification email problem
Hello,
If your forum is new or inactive, it is very possible that Forumotion's new anti-spam mechanism is preventing your setting from going through. You will have to manually activate all accounts in your ACP (Admin panel) until your forum is more active.
