Hi everyone. Thanks in advance for your help.

My forum is phpbb3, and my question is: The Latest Topics list (or widget), as well known, shows all latest topics in all forums (or sub-forums). So is there a way to prevent the topics in a specific forum from showing up in the Latest Topics?

For example: Let's say my forums are: Lions, Tigers, Jaguars, Leopards, Panthers and Cheetahs. Now I want the latest topics and posts only in Cheetahs NOT to be shown in the Latest Topics widget. The forum Cheetahs itself, however, will still be view-able and readable by all, even visitors.

Is there a code or some trick that can do just that? Again thanks in advance.

Unfornatelly this is not possible to do via the default options. The only way to do this via the default options is to hide the forum from certain users, then the topics wouldn't appear in the widget. As you don't want this option, it might be best to wait and see if there is a code available that can accomplish this.

Thanks Brandon. Hiding the forum is not exactly what I mean or want, of course. On the contrary, I'm planning to show this specific forum's latest topics in a separate widget—just somewhere else, not in the main Latest Topic widget. (which begs the question: if we can create a Latest Topic widget for a specific forum, why can't we just remove a forum from the default widget? Perhaps it's not a code to be added, rather a modification in the relevant Template, for example?)
