How to stop moderator receiving emails of status

Hello

When I make any changes to a moderator status for certain topics, they receive an email. How can I prevent an email being sent to a mod whenever I change their permissions?

I would have thought there would be an option in the AP on whether to send an email to a mod if there are any changes to their permission. Turning off notifications of course will prevent all notifications.

The most assured way.

I don't think there is one for permissions specifically. Then again I never even knew it sent emails out for that. Disabling notifications through the profile to not send emails would be the assured and effiecent way of preventing this from happening.

If I remove a mod's permission in a category, they receive an email notifying I did that. I wanted to remove that option of sending them an email.

Could you please post a screenshot of the email that the moderators got about changing permissions?

I apologize. I just tested it and it didn't send out the notice.

Several months ago, when I was making some changes, a mod had contacted me because they received a notification so I thought I'd ask before I made changes.

Moderators don't receive any email notifications when you change the permissions However, if you have a screenshot of the email, don't hesitate to provide it
