Hover over Avatar

I don't know how to exactly explain this nor do I have pictures to help, but is there a code for hovers? What I'm trying to say is can I have my avatar but when I hover over it with my mouse it disappears and has certain information? Is it also possible for mobile? I hope I explained this well enough to understand.

This should hide the profile fields, and display them when you hover the user profile.
