New members confirmation, email confirm?

I am setting up my forum for a political party and as such, I need to ensure all members who sign up, are members of that specific political party.

I also need some users to be able to use pseudonym's for privacy reasons within internal discussions.

Is there a way that when a user registers, that their user name and email address can be sent to me to confirm access? This is pretty much a really important aspect for us.

The only thing you can do is have it where you have to activate the accounts.

You can select the option on your admin panel to activate or not new members. You can find this option on Users & Groups>>Users options

Thanks, I have already done this, I guess I will just have to instruct those wishing to use alternative names, to email me first with who they are.

If this is something that becomes available to do in the future, I would be very interested.
