is there anyway to all or chosen ones to go to a custom link rather than the /forum ?

Replace URL1 by the IMG URL that you want to redirect to the LINK which you must replace by the URL you want to send the person.

Replace URL1 by the IMG URL that you want to redirect to the LINK which you must replace by the URL you want to send the person.

Whatever you decide it's the best. Even though I recommend you to recreate a new JS page.

It should. But sometimes there are compatibility issues. If you can't create a new JS page, then don't. If you can, it would be better. You can use the script multiple times though in that same new page.
