Hey there everyone, me and a couple of friends were having a discussion when the joke of banning the forum owner (in this scenario, it's me) came up, we are wondering if it really is possible to ip ban the owner if you have access to the ACP?

Is this for discussion, or are you exactly asking for an answer from the staff?  If it is the last question, you should have asked this in the support section.

It's more like a discussion, is it really possible, how to stop it, how to avoid it, etc...

I don't think it's possible and I won't try to IP ban myself from my forum only to find it out.

yes, it is possible

for this, forumotion allows you to remove the ban from the founder utilities. Basically if you ban the founder by mistake, you can remove the ban from here

Just to add on to what Niko said, you could also use the direct connection feature of the founder utilities to go into the ip ban area of the forum acp and remove your ip from the ban list .
