Administration Crown

I know I have seen either a tutorial or posting on that crown with Administration somewhere and now I can't find it..thought I had it bookmarked..

First what is that crown for..is it for the main Administrator like the founder or site owner or is it for anyone that is an Administrator?

Second is there a way of changing it?

Third is there a way of adding something like that to each of the Staff Members?

I had several more questions but having a brain fart..will be adding more questions to this as my brain remembers lol..also will be adding images that I would like on there as soon as I can find them..I lost them..sorry..

What would you like to change specifically? Could you please give us more information?

Well was wondering what that crown by the Administrators rank is for..is it for all Administrators or for the founder/site owner..and it just shows in the Administration Panel..not on the forum itself..

If it is just supposed to show in the Administration Panel and nobody else see's it but me then it really don't matter but if it is supposed to show on the forum then I guess it does matter..sort of at least to me..

And I would like to have an image to each of the Staff/Affiliates..if they are supposed to show on the Legend names on the forum itself..if not then it really doesn't matter I guess..unless there is a way of making the images show..

What about it do you not understand? We can probably help you. We just need to know what specificly you need with in regards to the code. Do you mean you don't understand how to modify the code or do you mean you don't understand how to install the code?

Looking at Java Script and Html is like me trying to read another language..and I flunked Spanish in High School..

That crown, is that just for the Founder/Administrator or is it for All Administrators?? and if it is for all I would like to have one made for other Administrators..and is that crown just for the Administrator Panel if that is the case then there is no use of making anything..if it can be put on the forum next to the Administrator in the Legend..and if that can be done can I have something else other than the crown..

Replace #000000 with the color of the Administrators. You can find this by going on your administration panel, then Users & Groups.

Please read the main post..it has nothing to do with the colors I already have the colors and you don't need Java Script to change them..sorry to be a bit harsh..

No no, I think you mis understand, that is the code for the crown, it is from the tutorial.


In answer to all your above questions, yes it can be for all administrators OR just a select few. It is just as simple as adding something to your rank to have it appear. Yes it will appear in the forum, not just the admin panel. Yes you should be able to have anything other then crown, but you will have to modify the code to add a different image url to do this.


Finally, the above code is NOT javascript, but css .

CSS, Java Script, Html they are all the same..and just putting that up there and not having a step by step that a 2 yr old can understand just got to me..

If I had understood the tutorial on this I wouldn't have asked here and so it upset me when something was put up here without steps to follow..

didn't work..all it did was behind my name Broomhilda61 was a brown clump..and nothing next to the Site Owner in Legend..

please just close this and add it to the garbage..
