    Hello,

    We are not receiving email notifications of topics that are being watched. All was fine up until a couple of weeks ago, and now some members receive them intermittently and others do not receive any.

    I have posted screen shot on the forum of how to set up the users profile to ensure that emails can be received, and checked all settings in the ACP.

    I went to the extent of setting up another email account with my ISP, to ensure that the email address was not being blocked. I have proved that this works as I can send emails to the users from my site. I have been chasing this problem for about 2 weeks now and I have done all I can to try and resolve it.

    All other notifications are working on the site as normal.

    I would appreciate some advice from your team to help to try and sort this out.

    Hello,
    I am facing the same problem too, when I am pressing "Start watch this topic" its displaying a messsage now you are watching this topic but after few hours when I am returning back the topic marked as unwatched again. It is happening since 2-3 week now. For this reason we aren't receiving notifications due is marked as unwathed topic.

    Hi guys,

    This notification problem is becoming a real problem, logins have dropped off along with forum activity. We've only just started here after switching to Forumotion and we are still laying down the foundations, we will be going backwards if this is not solved shortly.

    Has anyone on the support team have any idea about this problem?? I cannot communicate with my members via newsletters and they are not receiving emails from watched topics!! This has been going on for three weeks now and members are becoming disgruntled, and I don't blame them! We need some support here please, rather quickly.

    Can i ask what domain is your Email address?

    Please do not Post full Email just the last part like

    Gmail.com

    Please post yours
    so i can see if its a Email address problem as i know some time back we had a problem where Yahoo Blocked us.

    Hello @Ape,
    The problem with "Start watching this topic" bug is still remain furthermore the e-mail notifications delayed to much to send to our e-mail providers (I am using Yahoo and Gmail e-mail providers) and notfication e-mails coming to our mailboxes with big delays. The same think happening with newsletters and inactive accounts e-mail notifications Sad I think the problem/bug is on notifications system.

    The funny thing is i am not getting a problem at all i started to watch this thread and asked for it to send me Emails and i got them without any problem at all. im sure its been reported to the head office already.

    I've been watching topics on this excellent forum for weeks with no problems with notifications being displayed in the header or receiving email notifications. I received 10 notifications just yesterday 02.03.2016 and 4 today. Seems to be working fine for me.

    I can send an individual email from the site and the member will receive it, as I said in my initial post, it is only the notification emails that are the problem on my site.

    Which email address are these notifications sent from?

    The admin address that you designate, (not the founder address) or the @noreplyxxxx used to send news letters?

    Yeah this issue is happening on most Forumotion hosted websites. I can email members just fine and they actually receive them, but watched topic email notifications are completely broken...:/

    I have this problem as well. It started a few days ago. I checked the settings and everything seems to be fine but I do not get the notifications. The weird thing is that I am in a few different forums and this only happens in one of them, which is actually the one I use the most.

    I hope it can be fixed soon. Shrug


    edit. i checked. it is the noreply email that the forum is using. but i get notifications from other forums that are also using their noreply email...

    I had the same problem yesterday Sad i also got no greem new post icons or any notifications in the toolbar on the site but today most of them are ok all but the Emails i turned them off but i will test it again now to see if i still have the problem

    Nothing has changed for me. The topics remain in my watched topics list but I recieve no email notification. Not even for new pms!
