Solved "Deceptive site ahead" problem: cause from Phishing Advertising

    Post by blaca April 3rd 2016, 17:17

I'm not sure this is a right forum, I hope I'm right.
and I might make a mistake about language/Gramma, so I apologize in advance.

Let's me tell about why this is a problem first.
when I enter website I receive this red page message.

    "Deceptive site ahead

Attackers on [my website] may trick you into doing something dangerous like installing software or revealing your personal information (for example, passwords, phone numbers, or credit cards)."
"Deceptive site ahead" problem: cause from Phishing Advertising Hmred

and I believe what causes this problem is these phishing advertising pictures (It's a GIF picture orginally) :
"Deceptive site ahead" problem: cause from Phishing Advertising W35ad

I try to find solution, but it doesn't seem to have any button or code to do with those pictures.
    except this button :
"Deceptive site ahead" problem: cause from Phishing Advertising 7z3re

so my question is how do I get rid of it? or change it? or maybe I look over something?
or what i need is paying for delete?

Did you try following any of the steps in the tutorial I linked you to? Sometimes doing so can actually solve this issue.

The browser you are using is Google Chrome, correct? Have you tried any other browsers? Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies and/or the forum cookies?

Has any other users on your site had this issue at all?

That thing you think might be causing the warning, is an ad, this is how forumotion makes revenue to keep the service free and maintained. This can not be removed, except by purchasing credits and using them to remove the ads for a duration of time. Rest assured, however, that all ads on forumotion forums are virus and malware free. I still wait for downloading tools, since my internet is so slow. so i didn't do it yet. Confused

yes, I use Google Chrome. also Firefox. Both of them show warning page.
I open in incognito window mode, it's still same.

The other users had same issue too. they sent the warning page to me.

oh, so the ads can't be removed. (if purchasing didn't happen.)
then I will try those tools first, and report result later.

    Thanks again.

You can only remove ads by using credits.

    definitely.
I read and follow instruction in announcement, and send a request to review to Google.
now I have to wait in the next 72 hours for change to happen.

    and for my another question:
where do I should send the url of the forum and the link target if I found on any Forumotion forums?

    I see, thanks for information.

    Warning page has been removed!
    I can enter normally now.
