Forumotion servers are from the latest generation that you can find on the market and are at the top level performance dude
But as already said, it's impossible to ensure full time availability. We do not choose to have hardware problems...! You can buy the most efficient and performent car in the world and it will fail without warning ... so I can not give you a promise that nobody in the world can hold. Google goes down, Facebook goes down, twitter goes down and Forumotion forums goes down from time to time to.
All you need to know and i can guarantee you is that behind our service you have a team who work night and day to correct these errors when they appear. But i can't gives you guarantee against the unknown, because if I could do it, I'll go play lottery ...
thanks for your understanding
Dude??
I don't think you want to be called The Godmother either, do you?
I understand what you're saying and, again, I'm not looking for 100% up-time here. All I'm asking for is to be in control and stay in control, even of the network components (none of that is to be found in your reply, unfortunately).
I've got a few more questions:
- Are these slowdowns / outages network or server related?
- Is FM in control of the servers only or network just the same?
- If FM is in control of the network, because of frequent 'overloads', when will these components be upgraded / replaced or network bandwidth be increased?
- You're mentioning 24/7 support, nothing less (good work btw), but the experience proves no support is available (to staff) from 5 pm CET on Fridays - 9 am CET on Mondays. How come we're (and staff is) left in the dark during such periods of time? Most of the slowdowns and outages occur during the weekends.
- Outages are mostly not being recognized by support during the weekends. Are they equipped with tooling to get the alarms when outages do occur? And how will they report back to us?
- Are the outages / slowdowns being recognized as a problem rather than incidental issues by your organization?
Thanks in advance for answering them.
Samantha.
