Mobile version: vanishing posts

Hi.

I've been noticing that posts go missing on the mobile version. The first time it happened, I figured I'd do e something wrong. Second time I was suspicious. Now it's happened for a third time.

What I did notice on the 2nd and 3rd time was that someone else had posted as I was drafting my post. Now in the full version, there's a setting to advise you when a post has been made as you were typing but this is definitely deactivated in my profile.

Could it be that this is re-activating for the mobile version but not giving me a warning?

I have no issues at all posting on the classic version even when on a mobile device. It's ONLY happening on the mobile version.

I'm using a as Samsung Galaxy S4 and chrome if that makes a difference.

Any ideas?

Please can you turn your draft system off and see if you still have the problem.

ACP >> General Tab >>   Messages and e-mails >> Configuration >> Activate drafts messages functionality : NO

Then Save  

now if it keeps going on then we can look in to this some more.

It wasn't on.

I didn't know that was a feature. I probably shouldn't have used the term."drafting a post" rather than "typing a post"

No. I submit the post on the mobile version, it says it's submitted but....nothing. nothing on the mobile version, nothing on the classic version. It's just gone.

As I say, unless it's a coincidence, it appears to happen if someone has posted a comment WHILST I'm typing.

Okay, you are right, your messages are not sent when someone post before you while you are still writing your message. The problem is caused by the option that warns you when someone has posted before you could send your message. This option is not available for now on the mobile version and that's why your messages disappear. Deactivate this option if you want to avoid the same issue again.
Note that Forumotion is working on improvements for the mobile version.

But I don't have that option selected. I disabled that on day 1.

But its like the mobile version is overriding that setting somehow.
